I did it. I quit. *dies*

My new mantra is: "It was the right thing to do, it was the right thing to do, it was the right..."

I'm the third person in my dept to quit in the last month. Another one is quitting later today. Yet another is quitting in two weeks. All of which will bolster my unemployment case for quitting with "good cause."

After this weekend's conference, there will be writing. Much writing. In fact, pirate!Jodi has given me a deadline of Nov 1 for finishing Elisa. And since I fear her greatly, I must comply.

I've gotten such helpful reviews on ch. 4 from the OWW crew. *loffs* Favorite comment so far:

Girl! But it was the right thing to do. They sound like sociopaths there and if this mass resignation doesn't send a message to their bosses... But whatever. Go you!

Funny you should say this. I just unofficially diagnosed one of my co-workers as a sociopath. Look for a "Sociopath" lj post soon! (Truly. She is waaaay interesting and must be immortalized by the mighty blog.)
