Last night, I was stuck, stuck, stuck. So, following dark_geisha's example from a couple of weeks ago, I ditched the chronology obsession and skipped several chapters ahead. And it worked!!! No more stuckage. 650 words in 2 hours. AND, It helped my brain wrap itself around the direction the next several chapters need to go.

Down with chronology!!!

Of course, I should have spend that time reviewing. Sheesh.

Bugs: I am overwhelmed with praying mantises. (manti?) What strange creatures.

It was sad. It flew through the window, landed on her hair and started attacking her hair. She jumped up and ran around the room, smacking at the back of her head while the rest of us stared at her aghast. D:

Yup. That's why I have strange insect stories, tropical setting and all.
