International Cliche Day!!
Oct. 20th, 2004 09:35 amI use too many cliches. My WIP is filled to the brim with them. But today, instead of beating myself over the head, I'm going to embrace cliches!!! It suddenly occurred to me that as one of the founders of JodHolRaespotism, I have the power to declare International Cliche Day. (World dominance has its privileges)
So, today, I shall make the world a better place by writing in completely unorginal language. I shall incorporate cliches whenever possible.
I shake my fist in the face of unique wordage!
Wielders of wit and word tremble before my power of triteness!
Cliche addicts: Unite!!!
Rae's favorite cliches from recent WIP:
"Green-eyed gaze"
"his eyes were blacker than black"
"little time remained"
"inky blackness"
"stricken face"
"luxury of remorse"
Yay cliches!!!!!
Bugs: My sister, Rebekah, says she is planning a massive spider cleansing today. We shall see.
