Novel Writing Lesson Learned #243
Oct. 13th, 2004 02:18 pmIt really seemed like a good idea. Really, it did.
I cruised celebrity sites today seeking description inspiration for my major characters. I figured if I could just find that perfect set of eyes, that perfect expression, I'd be able to make my characters live!!! What a dumb-dumb. Celebrities are just way too pretty, way too make-up-y. Aaargh. All I got out of the activity was a severe case of surfhead.
*blinks rapidly to clear fuzzy vision*
Here's a thought: How about I trust the creative flow that got me writing in the first place???
*shakes head at self*
