Writerly Stuff for 9/16/05
Sep. 16th, 2005 11:51 pmProgress: (??) A bunch of words on Elisa's Belly
Made-up words: wavery is sooo a word.
Barely avoided clichés: His eyes spark in the candlelight.
The words I'll hate most to cut: "No thank you." My mind whirls with planning. I may have found a way to speak with Father Nicandro in secret. "I'm not hungry."
Thank God an editor didn't see this: The Scriptura Sancta calls it "the firs of kindness." (s/b fire)
Black widows killed: 1 in Calamity's doghouse
General thoughts: Never, ever, ever write a book that describes food a lot, for in that path lies madness.
