Butler Offerings

This morning, I opened the door of my bedroom to a little pile of mangled bugs. A couple of flies, a large moth, a sun scorpion. Butler was quite pleased with himself, as evidenced by a distinct strut and swishier-than-usual tail.

I'm such a proud mom.

I sometimes wonder if cats leave dead bugs, moles, and other critters in some sort of ritual sacrifice to the goddess of kitty chow (that being you).
