I am soooo close!
*raises the roof*
*does the cabbage patch*
*does the running man*
*wishes M.C. Hammer was still a force to be reckoned with*
Also, I did a complete work count of my W.I.P and I'm at 50K words!! Squeeeeeee! But now I'm thinking...is 150K too long for a first novel? Must. Cut. Back. (insert snipping sounds here.)

To copy a recent Amazon post:
"...For it seems all this time we'd committed the crime
Most heinous in everyone's sight,
Of wanting to read what we wanted to read
And not what (s)he wanted to write."
- "Song of the Tyrants" by Zander Nyrond.
Having never been famous, I truly can't understand the difficulties of celebrity, so I hope that it is as a result of honest internal character inventory that I can say: I don't think I would have ever done that. And I can't imagine any of my writer buddies doing it either.
