Yay! I'm on track. Tonight's goal is significantly higher since I have FOUR glorious hours set aside for writing. Can I do it? Dare I shoot for...*gasp*...2500 words? Eeeee!

Doggie stuff: My neighbor's dogs escaped last night and we couldn't find them. Abigail came galloping back at about 2 am, but I think Sasha is still missing. My stomach has this roiling, sick feeling. Sasha is the wonderfulest dog in the world, and life would not be the same without her.

My dog, Calamity, has recently perfected the stealth snarfle. We'll be cuddling or wrestling and all of a sudden, her little nose hits my face (or arm, or clothes, whatever) and lands a big wet one. It all happens in the blink of an eye--quite remarkable, really.

Well-pump is working again, though I've noticed that it's leaking gallons of water. At least Butler and I could get our shower this morning.

jmeadows has adopted yet another ferret. Stewie is about the cutest thing ever and my only question is: When oh when will ferrets be legal in California???

dude, I know, I know! I do wonder what it would be like to get inside Cali's head. Something like: "mom thinks she doesn't want this, but if I can sneak one in, I'm sure she'll realize the error of her ways."
