Typical convo with Teh Dad

Dad: Have you changed the oil in your car recently?
Rae: Sure. Put a new quart in just last week.
Dad: Um, that's not what I mean.
Rae: Why not? A quart gets burned up, a new quart gets put in. Sounds like change to me.
Dad: *long pause* Well, how's the car driving in general?
Rae: Ok. I think I need to get my wheels balanced. Things get pretty shaky at about 40 mph.
Dad: Then you should get it done before it messes with your bearings.
Rae: Nah. I'll wait till after the holidays.
Dad: It's not that expensive.
Rae: It's no big deal.
Dad: It could be a big deal.
Rae: No, really, Dad. It's no prob. Everything smoothes out just fine around 80 mph.
Dad: That's my Special Rae.
