Our formerly feral feline friend has decided to aggressively pursue a life of domesticity. He fears nothing in the house, not even his hissy-fit big brother Butler. Schrody never hides, never growls or hisses. He uses the Paw of Insistence to grab my pant leg as I pass or to invite me to play. He's learning to use the litterbox. He loves a good tummy rub. (Yay! I was hoping my next child would be a tummy kitty.) His hip bones no longer seem on the verge of bursting through his skin.

The leg is doing so much better. He puts more weight on it every day. Close observation shows that his hamstring gives him more trouble than the bone itself. I let him out of his crate for short periods of supervised time and can usually wear him down with a vigorous cuddle. Yesterday, though, I was sitting at the computer when the little turd hopped into my lap. Baaad kitty. Naturally, I was delighted that he could launch himself so far, but still. Baaaaaad kitty. I've kept a closer eye on him since.

He's starting to worry his stitches. Anyone know a good ploy for keeping a kitty mouth away from a healing incision?
