Writerly Stuff for 6/8/05

BUT.
Three submissions prepared. THREE! *proud and happy*
The funny thing is, I don't have hope for any of them. One market is just too tough to crack at my current level, one will not take kindly to my literary (ahem) use of 2nd person, and one...well, the story is just not where I want it to be yet, and I'm having trouble wrapping my head around Why. (I sent it to a market known for rejections with commenty goodness.)
The funnier thing is, I don't feel discouraged by my dismal chances. There is something to be said for hopelessness. Truly, tonight, I am able to revel in the purity of newbie-writer-practicing-submissions-and-getting-to-know-markets.
