Words so far: DONE and posted to OWW at 500!
Made-up words: orangeish, zags, cinemaplexes
Barely avoided clichés: Her pixie face...
The words I'll hate most to cut: The atrium boasts scattered wind-trash, a once-glorious skylight, a tall redwood that never gets quite enough rainwater, a bucket whos gaping wood seams dangle from a red-rust winch. But no magic.
Thank God an editor didn't see this: ...gaping wood seems... -and- I kept wanting to capitalize "Atrium." Which would have been dumb.
General thoughts: My first flash! *newbie squee* It's too wordy though. A bit choppy. But nothing a good night's sleep and a second look won't cure.
