Context starts tonight at 6:00 pm. Woooo! Anyone else going? Who should I be looking out for?

My panel schedule:

Saturday, 9/29/07

10:30 am -- A Day in the Life of an Editor (Mmmm, slushy.)

1:00 pm -- Humor in Science Fiction and Fantasy (It's really easy to talk about what's NOT funny, but I hope I can go more in depth than that based on experience reading for The Town Drunk.)

8:30 pm -- The Dark Ascent: Contemporary Horror (Because I know sooo much about horror. O.O I guess I'll be a "student-panelist.")

See you there!

I'm looking forward to checking out that last panel. See you this afternoon.

We're probably going to arrive sometime between 3-4pm. Leaving in an hour or 90 minutes for the drive down.

I want to hear about the humor panel if you have the inclination to post about it afterward. I think there cannot be too much humor in a novel and wish more authors agreed with me.

I agree! Well, almost. I think there can be too much. But a novel completely devoid of humor is a poor reflection of real life and real characters.

The boys want me to tell you, that if you figure out the humor thing, you're supposed to explain it to me so I could be funny.

Have a great time!
