Good Things About Today

1) Charlie and progeny took me out for THAI FOOD!!! for my birthday. *dies of teh happy* The restaurant is only blocks away from the place we'll be (hopefully) living soon. Thai food! In Ohio!!!

2) Got contrib copies from Weird Tales. Wow...those Wildside folks are sure putting together pretty magazines. The issue leads off with my story, "Fugue" (aka "Crazy Dungeon Dude") and has a wonderful illustration. All italics were edited out, which makes for a stronger story and would probably not have appeared in the first place had I written it more recently. I couldn't be happier with it.

3) My replacement iPod Nano came. (The first one had a bad battery.) The vendor I purchased it from didn't have any more 2GB Nanos left. Alas, I have to suffer with a 4GB model. *tee-hees aalll day*

4) After stuffing myself with THAI FOOD! I had the Best Nap Ever.

Weird Tales

Silly question, but maybe you can help. I really wanted to pick up the new issue of Weird Tales to check out your story, but the place I used to get the magazine (Liberty Books) isn't around anymore. I know you're a newbie to our fair city, but I thought you might have ventured out to see it on the shelves.

Barnes and Noble doesn't carry it, and neither does Borders, so I'm stumped. I suppose I could just break down and order off the web, but I want it now!

I see Weird Tales in B&N all the time, but I can't remember if I've ever seen it locally. I know it's in a lot of comic book stores too, but I'm not sure which ones. Gah. Sowwy--I'm not much help!
