Blue Heaven Disaster The First
Jun. 10th, 2007 09:33 pmSo. Made it up to lovely Kelleys Island for a week of Blue Heaven '07 (oo, it rhymes). My fellow BHers are great. The first night of crits was great. The weather is great.
My luggage would also be great, if it were here. Alas, I left it at home.
I wonder how long until I start to smell?

Date: 2007-06-12 10:38 pm (UTC)So, last night we got Toby chatting (hard to believe, huh?) and he got a little sappy and emotional while talking about his wonderful wife. That guys' guy thing? Totally a front. But don't tell him I told you...

Date: 2007-06-11 03:19 pm (UTC)I can see this one setting a precedent---and setting off jokes---for every trip you take for the rest of your life.
"Where's my luggage?"
a. "Didn't you bring it?"
b. "I thought you brought it."
c. "I don't know."
d. under the hotel bed/in hotel closet, so you'll think you forgot it
e. under the bed at home so you will forget it
f. right in front of you, but someone *unpacked all your stuff* and left that at home
You might consider mixing the packing in future. Some of his clothes in your bag, some of yours in his. . . .just for emergencies. ;)
