Blessed Normalcy
Oct. 25th, 2004 05:18 pmI think it was FDR who coined the term. A return to normalcy! he promised in his first presidential campaign. Well, I would have voted for you, Franklin. I have just returned to normalcy and it feels mighty fine. Saturday was my last day at job #2. After church on Sunday, I actually had Nothing To Do. *blissful sigh* It feels kinda weird to know that I don't have to go to work after work tonight.
What am I going to do with all this free time, you ask? WRITE, of course. I am going to be a turbo-writing devil. *smells burned rubber*
Bugs: There is a spider in the northwest corner of my living room that will not die. He's been squashed with the web-getter and RAIDed twice. My sister and I have named him Lazarus.
**UPDATE**
dark_geisha has graciously reminded me that Harding coined "Normalcy," not FDR. Perhaps this is a sign I should steer clear of historical fiction.
