I loff writing
Sep. 20th, 2005 01:09 pmHaving just quit my "real job" and plunged into that nefarious black hole known as "Pursuing My Dream," I have to say...I'M SO GLAD I DID.
I know the odds are stacked against me. Saying I want to be a writer is like saying I want to be a model or an actress. It's the kind of thing that makes people ask, without blinking, so, what do you do in the meantime?
But I don't care.
It's amazing how quickly my brain has adjusted to this new life. I wake up, I think about my WIP over coffee. After jotting some notes and catching up on email, I write. Then, I eat. Maybe I nap. Write some more. Walk the dog. Clean a little. Write some more. Close the blinds and gothercize. And far into the night, I turn my brain inside-out writing yet more.
I could do this forever.
