ccfinlay and I wrote a novelette together. And we sold it! "The Crystal Stair" goes to Scott Andrews at the gorgeous new online mag, Beneath Ceaseless Skies.
So yeah, co-authorship. It's this new thing we're trying. We had so much fun that we may write another. Maybe even a novel! AND! After hashing out the finer details and disagreeing on stuff and drafting back and forth (and back and forth) and coming to a consensus, we've decided that not only do we love the story, we're going to remain married.
(In light of recent kerfuffles, I should also point out that we like our contract muchly. It's professional, airtight, and still author-friendly.)
