Nightstand cleanup (Is it just me??)
Jun. 2nd, 2008 12:31 pmFinally did a long overdue cleanage of the nightstand. I now have solid evidence that I am as disorganized a reader as I am a housecleaner. (Ok, maybe "disorganized housecleaner" is a euphamism for "indifferent housecleaner". Or possibly "Never-clean-up-what-you-can-shove-under-the-bed housecleaner.")
The damage:
-1 roll toilet paper
-4 old earplugs
-2 empty beer bottles
-1 alarm clock
-1 ugly, ugly, ugly lamp
-1 bottle opener
-2 used Kleenexes

and...
FOURTEEN BOOKS in various stages of reading completion.
Holy cow. I'm gross.
So, I'm curious. How many books do you have on your nightstand or near your bed? Do you read them all? Do you have "rules" about whether a book is worthy of nightstandhood?
