My dad says I should try some of that "non-rhyming poetry stuff." I tell him, REALLY, you don't want me to do that. But he insists. So, for you, dad:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Some poems rhyme
This one doesn't
It doesn't even have
Rhythm

Hot Men

So. Went to Barnes and Noble on my lunch break. Gravitated in the usual manner toward the sci fi/fantasy section (only 1 copy of Hammered left...) and could hardly believe my eyes. HOT MEN. In the spec fic section. Discussing my favorite authors. Charmingly humorous in that coveted non-geek way. They used hair product, their pantlegs reached their shoes, and not a pocket protector in sight. Did I mention they had muscles???

*experiences paradigm shift*

Naturally, I struck up a convo. I just HAD to know...did they really know their spec fic? Or were they young lawyer hotshots merely masquerading as spec fic fans? And believe it or not, they were the real deal. Well-read and well-able to discuss certain pivotal works.

Hot men. In MY section.

*still adjusting*
