Writing: Just got some useful comments on "A Son of the Right Hand" from britzkrieg. Yay! I don't feel quite so helpless now. Wrote over 1,000 words of The Unmagicked last night. Only 925,000 words until I achieve my Million-Words-O-Crap goal.

Bugs: Yes, it's been a while since I've updated you all on my perpetually precarious bug situation. Well, it's that time of year again (insert Christmas carol of choice) when the farmers bring thousands upon thousands of bee hives into the orchards for proper pollenization. My outside faucet, my dog's kiddie pool, and my holding tank all provide a watering source for the pleasant little creatures. I actually have a can of RAID next to my bed.

Random laugh of the day: I interviewed a prospective student today who's last name is Fyock. I kid you not. That had to have been a tough adolescence.

AND in honor of postponing the release of Serenity, Joss Whedon's Firefly movie, I created a new icon. How serene.
