After a bad day, rejection-wise, I'm finally giving in to my deepest writing desire. My next book will feature a Mary Sue-ish protagonist. She'll be beautiful! She'll be smart! She'll be great at everything! She must save the world!

And 75% of the way through the manuscript, she'll die. The secondary tertiary characters will take over the plot.

I'm calling it Redshirt Rising.
