This movie is creepy as hell.

Edward, after climbing through her window: "I like watching you sleep. It's kinda fascinating to me."

All together now: EWWWWWW!!!!

This movie should have been titled Co-dependency.

*Kid #2 wants it to be perfectly clear that this was not HIS idea. He is doing this strictly as a favor to ME. He wasn't curious about the movie at all. He's just that kind of guy.

Hee! I shared my view of the stalker daddy-boyfriend with Sarah and Becky. I don't think my view was much appreciated given their perspective of Edward as the ideal man. *giggles*

You mean it wasn't?

Now I KNOW I'll never watch it.

From what I understand (never having actually read the books, or watched the movie, because life is too short and authors I like are still publishing) that was one of the parts that made the fangirls go squeeeeeesigh.

I like my vampires the way they were meant to be -- sexy only if you're a necrophiliac and a complete psychotic.

Eew dude.

There's a whole Twilight clothing selection in my WalMart. I regularly shudder as we walk by. Edward's face on a shirt? Team Jacob shirt? (Remember, in one of the other books, Jacob tries to force himself on Bella. Why does he have a team again? He's just as creepy as Edward.)

And then there's this one plain black shirt (you know how I like plain black shirts) with lower-case twilight written across the front, and darn if it isn't a *pretty* shirt. And I want it. If only it wasn't *Twilight*.

Does this mean I can stop wearing the pancake makeup and body glitter now?

Yes. But I insist you keep the blood red lipstick.

Um... what if it's blood and not lipstick?

That watching her sleep bit weirded me out, too. Had more to say and forgot it. Baby is squeaking. Time to go. Oh, and that's such a boy thing. "I don't want to see this. Not at all. It's all for you." Yeah, right.

I have not seen it, nor do I want to. I have also not read the books. My niece read one and summed it up in one word, "boring." (Actually, given her age-- eleven -- it was two words, of course, at least in pronunciation.)

Yeah, that's the aspect of the books and movies most responsible for me not wanting to have anything to do with them.
